Content Lead

As a Content Lead for Motadata, you will be responsible for spearheading the strategy and execution of product and technical documentation for the growing suite of enterprise software products. Your passion for simplifying complex concepts, driving content excellence, and leading high-performing teams will be crucial in this strategic and hands-on leadership role. Your key responsibilities will include defining and implementing documentation strategy across multiple product lines, establishing and maintaining content standards, collaborating with various teams to capture technical insights, and developing a wide range of content such as user guides, knowledge bases, API documentation, technical blogs, and more. You will also ensure that the content is searchable, up-to-date, and aligned with product releases, as well as manage CMS/documentation tools like Confluence, Git, and Markdown. To excel in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience in technical content development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in handling documentation for complex enterprise software products, strong technical acumen, proficiency with content tools like Confluence, Git, Markdown, and collaborative workflows, and the ability to work in Agile, fast-paced product-led environments are essential. Exposure to ITSM, DevOps, Observability, or Automation domains, experience with DITA/XML, API docs, or static site generators, familiarity with analytics for content performance evaluation and optimization, and involvement in technical marketing or enablement content development are considered bonus points.
