Role Overview
The Content Lead will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Locuss business goals and market positioning. This role requires a strong leader, a hands-on writer, and a strategic thinker with a proven track record of creating high-impact content that drives engagement and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy and Execution

Develop and own the content strategy across all Locus channels (website, blog, social media, email, video, white papers, etc) to drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation.

Conduct thorough audience research and competitive analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities.

Oversee the end-to-end content production process, from ideation and outlining to writing, editing, publishing, and promotion.

Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience.
Team Management and Collaboration

Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and other internal teams to develop product-specific content, case studies, and sales enablement materials.

Manage external contractors/agencies.

Work with the SEO/SEM team to ensure all content is fully optimized to maximize organic traffic and visibility.
Performance and Measurement

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for all content initiatives and report on performance against these metrics regularly.

Utilize data and analytics tools to track content performance, derive insights, and iterate on the content strategy for continuous improvement.

Manage the content budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.

Strategic Skills

Proven ability to translate complex business objectives into a clear, actionable content strategy.
SEO Proficiency
High
Deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, and on-page optimization.
Communication

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting strategy to executive leadership .
Education
Standard
masters / Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
