About The Opportunity

A multi-specialty healthcare provider operating in the secondary & tertiary care sector, delivering clinical, diagnostic and procedural services to patients across coastal Gujarat. We are expanding clinical teams at our Veraval, Gujarat campus and seek experienced, patient-focused consultant specialists to join an on-site, hospital-based practice dedicated to high-quality outcomes and community health.Role & Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient specialty care for assigned department(s) including diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up.
  • Perform specialty-specific diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (e.g., imaging interpretation & image-guided interventions; endoscopy/colonoscopy; dialysis and renal procedures; neurologic assessments and interventions; orthopedic surgeries and trauma care) with adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide emergency on-call coverage as per rota and respond to acute admissions and trauma cases when required.
  • Collaborate in multi-disciplinary meetings—ICU rounds, tumor boards, and care-planning with surgeons, physicians, nursing and allied teams.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical governance, infection control and quality standards.
  • Mentor junior doctors and support continuous medical education initiatives, audits and community outreach programmes.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • MBBS with relevant postgraduate specialty qualification (MD/DNB/DM/MCh or equivalent) in the applied specialty and valid medical registration in India.
  • Proven clinical experience managing inpatient and outpatient caseloads in a hospital setting and capability to perform core specialty procedures independently.
  • Familiarity with hospital systems, clinical documentation, and adherence to patient safety/infection control protocols.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Veraval and participate in rota-based on-call and emergency duties.

Preferred

  • Fellowship or specialized training in subspecialty procedures (e.g., interventional radiology, ERCP, advanced endoscopy, arthroplasty, renal biopsy techniques).
  • Experience in teaching, audits, clinical governance or quality improvement projects.
