🏗️ Job Description: Site Supervisor Location: Karur, Tamil Nadu   Industry: Fabrication & Piping (Tank Fabrication, Structural Fabrication, Piping Works)   Employment Type: Full-time --- 🎯 Role Overview The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the entire site operations, ensuring smooth execution of fabrication and piping projects. He will act as the single point of accountability for site activities, coordinating manpower, materials, safety, and quality to deliver projects on time and within budget. --- 📌 Key Responsibilities Site Management: Supervise day-to-day site activities including tank fabrication, structural fabrication, and piping works. Workforce Coordination: Allocate tasks to workers, monitor progress, and ensure productivity. Quality Control: Inspect fabrication and piping work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a hazard-free work environment. Material Handling: Monitor material availability, usage, and coordinate with procurement for timely supply. Documentation: Maintain daily site reports, work progress records, and submit updates to management. Client & Contractor Liaison: Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve site issues. Problem Solving: Identify and address technical or operational challenges promptly. Timeline Adherence: Ensure project milestones are achieved as per schedule. --- 👤 Candidate Requirements Education: Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred). Experience: 3–7 years of site supervision experience in fabrication and piping projects. Technical Skills: Knowledge of fabrication drawings and welding processes. Familiarity with piping layouts, structural erection, and tank fabrication standards. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities. Ability to manage teams and handle pressure situations. Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
