Factory Store Manager & Floor Incharge

📌 Position Overview The Floor Incharge will be responsible for supervising day-to-day operations in the fabrication workshop, ensuring smooth workflow, adherence to quality standards, and timely completion of projects. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in fabrication processes, and the ability to manage manpower and resources effectively. --- 🎯 Key Responsibilities Workshop Supervision: Oversee daily floor activities, ensuring fabrication tasks are executed as per design and quality requirements. Team Management: Allocate work to technicians, welders, and helpers; monitor performance and provide guidance. Production Planning: Coordinate with the production manager to meet deadlines and optimize resource utilization. Quality Control: Ensure compliance with fabrication standards, safety protocols, and inspection requirements. Inventory & Tools Management: Monitor availability of raw materials, consumables, and tools; raise requisitions when needed. Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety measures, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain a hazard-free environment. Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and highlight issues to management. Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges on the floor and provide practical solutions. --- 👤 Candidate Requirements Education: Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Fabrication, Welding, or related field (preferred). Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in fabrication workshop operations. Technical Skills: Knowledge of fabrication drawings, welding techniques, cutting, and assembly processes. Familiarity with workshop machinery (grinders, cutting machines, welding sets, etc.). Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team, resolve conflicts, and motivate workers. Communication: Strong coordination skills with production, design, and quality teams.
