Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Computer Operator with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel to manage day-to-day computer operations, data processing, documentation, and report generation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of data and documents across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain computer systems and peripheral equipment in a professional office environment.
  • Prepare, edit, format, and proofread documents using MS Word.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets, perform data entry, and execute basic formulas and functions in MS Excel.
  • Manage and organize digital and paper files for easy retrieval and reference.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry, ensuring integrity and confidentiality of information.
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports as per management requirements.
  • Monitor and respond to system messages, error logs, or alerts, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Ensure backup procedures and documentation protocols are followed.
  • Support administrative and clerical tasks when needed.
  • Collaborate with different teams to streamline data and document management processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Computer Operator or in a similar clerical/technical support role.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word (e.g., formatting, tables, templates) and Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts).
  • Excellent typing skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and office equipment.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in MS Office or relevant computer training.
  • Experience in data analysis or reporting.
  • Familiarity with other office software (e.g., MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Workspace).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
