Computer Aided Design Designer

Job Summary:

The CAD Designer is responsible for creating accurate and high-quality 2D and 3D jewelry designs using Rhino and Matrix software. This role involves working closely with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable while maintaining artistic precision. The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in Rhino and Matrix, a strong understanding of casting processes, jewelry design principles, and the ability to produce detailed CAD models that meet company standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop precise and high-quality 2D and 3D CAD models for jewelry designs using

• Apply technical expertise in jewelry manufacturing to ensure error-free, production-ready casting designs.
• Collaborate closely with designers, artisans, and production teams to create innovative and manufacturable jewelry pieces.
• Assess design feasibility by analyzing structural integrity, weight, and material limitations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, jewelry aesthetics, and advancements in CAD techniques.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align production processes with approved design specifications.
• Revise and refine CAD models based on stakeholder feedback and prototyping results.
• Prioritize tasks and manage deadlines to ensure timely project completion.

Education:

Skills Required:

• Proficient in CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix, ZBrush, ArtCAM, Magics.
• Strong knowledge of jewelry casting techniques and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to create error-free, high-precision 2D & 3D models.
• Experience with design modifications to improve manufacturability.
• Familiarity with industry-standard drafting practices and procedures.
