Jewelry Designer

Job Summary:

The Senior Jewellery Designer / Merchandiser is responsible for conceptualizing and developing premium, trend-forward jewelry collections that align with brand identity and market demand. This role involves mentoring junior designers, working closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that every design is both aesthetically captivating and feasible for production. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of artistic flair, deep technical knowledge, and strategic insight into consumer and market trends.

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative jewelry designs based on client requirements and market trends.
• Lead the design development of seasonal and project-based jewelry collections.
• Translate business briefs and market insights into commercially successful designs.
• Review and approve technical drawings and CAD models, ensuring feasibility and design integrity.
• Guide junior designers and review their work for quality and alignment.
• Conduct market and competitor research and present insights to the team.
• Work with CAD designers and production teams to bring concepts to reality.
• Maintain quality checks and design standards across all outputs.
• Collaborate with senior management to propose innovative design directions.
• Maintain an archive of trends, inspirations, and past designs for future reference.
• Participate in client presentations, trade shows, and design exhibitions if required.
