Role Description This full-time, on-site role based in Jamshedpur requires an experienced AutoCAD Designer to create and review detailed designs for our trailer manufacturing projects. The role involves preparing and editing architectural, construction, and space planning drawings, as well as collaborating closely with technical teams and clients to ensure optimal design accuracy and functionality. The designer will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and efficient solutions that align with the company's commitment to quality and performance. Qualifications 5+ Years of Experience in the relevant Field. Proficiency in Architectural Drawings, Construction Drawings, and Space Planning Strong skills in technical Drawing and AutoCAD software Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients Attention to detail and the ability to ensure design accuracy and quality Ability to work on-site in Jamshedpur with a collaborative mindset Relevant experience in automotive or trailer design is a plus A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Key Responsibilities Create detailed 2D and 3D designs for trailers, semi-trailers, tippers, and bus bodies. Prepare assembly drawings, exploded views, and complete bills of materials (BOM). Design major structural components like underframes, suspension mounts, kingpin plates, and chassis layouts. Translate engineering ideas into accurate, production-ready drawings that can be used directly on the shop floor. Check every design for structural strength, proper load distribution, and ease of manufacturing. Work closely with factory teams to improve designs and solve on-ground challenges during production.
