Compliance Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance & Certifications Executive to manage end-to-end compliance activities across our Textile Business. The ideal candidate will have solid experience handling global certifications, brand portals, and documentation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Certification & Compliance Management

Manage and update all global textile compliance requirements including:

GRS, RCS, OCS, ISO Standards

TC (Transaction Certificates) & TG (Transaction Guidelines) submissions

Inditex A&C Portal, Brand Compliance Portals, Higg, and other client-specific platforms

Coordinate audits, schedule inspections, and maintain full documentation readiness.

Ensure 100% accuracy and timely renewal of certifications.

2. Documentation & Traceability

Maintain and track all supply-chain documentation for recycled and sustainable materials.

Handle fabric/yarn traceability reports, certificates, and validation for customer orders.

Liaise with certifying bodies, testing labs, and third-party auditors.

3. Internal Process Coordination

Work closely with production, merchandising, and sustainability teams to ensure compliance alignment.

Maintain SOPs for compliance workflows and continuously improve document control systems.

Train relevant departments on compliance updates and requirements.

4. Brand Portal Management

Manage updates, submissions, and uploads across:

Inditex / Zara brand portal

GRS portal

ISO portal

Other brand-specific systems requiring certifications or test reports.

5. Ad-hoc Responsibilities

Support sustainability reporting, client presentations, and data compilation.

Assist in preparing compliance decks for exhibitions, audits, and buyer meetings.

Perform additional tasks as required to support the compliance and sustainability function.

Required Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, sustainability certifications, or documentation within the textile or manufacturing sector.

Strong understanding of GRS, ISO, and recycled material traceability.

Hands-on experience with TCs, TGs, and brand portals.

Excellent organisational, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and global buyer compliance systems.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy.

Proficiency in Excel and document management tools.

Self-driven, responsible, and detail-focused.
