Compliance Officer

Role Overview: As a Compliance Officer with NBFC experience, you will be responsible for leading the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks to ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Your deep knowledge of RBI regulations, digital lending guidelines, and financial sector compliance requirements will be crucial in building a strong governance and risk culture in the fintech space. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, Digital Lending Guidelines, PMLA, KYC/AML requirements, NBFC Master Directions, and IT Act. - Develop and implement compliance policies, frameworks, and programs to meet regulatory standards. - Act as the point of contact with regulators, manage inspections, and ensure timely submission of reports. - Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and monitor regulatory changes for internal updates and staff training. - Prepare for audits, address queries, and ensure audit readiness. - Identify compliance gaps, recommend mitigation measures, and maintain records of compliance activities. - Provide expert advice on compliance risks, contracts, agreements, and governance matters. - Conduct compliance training and promote a culture of compliance within the organization. Qualifications Required: - Education: CA/CS/LLB/MBA/PG in Risk Management/Finance/Compliance/Law or equivalent. - Experience: 5-10 years in risk and compliance roles within NBFCs, Fintechs, or Banks. - Strong understanding of RBI regulations, credit/lending business, digital lending ecosystem, and data privacy laws. - Exposure to RegTech tools and reporting systems is a plus.
