Job Summary:

Compliance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
• Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
• Revise procedures, reports, and policies periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
• Draft, modify, and implement company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., HR, Legal, Operations) to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance across the organization
• Keep abreast of regulatory developments and evolving best practices in compliance control
• Prepare and present clear and concise compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required
• Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or certifications such as CCEP, CRCM, or CAMS is a plus)
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Compliance Manager, Legal Counsel, or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, AML, depending on your industry)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High level of ethics and integrity
