Compliance Executive

Role Summary:

The Compliance Executive is responsible for ensuring all client documentation complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role involves end-to-end handling of KYC, trade finance compliance, and audit coordination.

Job Requirements:

• Verify clients’ personal and corporate documents to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Guide clients through the KYC (Know Your Customer) process and assist with submission in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures.
• Perform due diligence on client identities and corporate entities, ensuring data accuracy and risk mitigation.
• Generate and submit regular Management Information System (MIS) reports to the management team.
• Maintain and organize client documentation in electronic systems; follow up for submission of physical originals as needed.
• Manage documentation related to trade finance instruments such as Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), etc.
• Serve as the first point of contact for client queries regarding compliance documentation, offering guidance and clarification.
• Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in Compliance, Risk Management, or Finance (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in banking, financial services, or compliance-related roles.
