Compliance Analyst

A Compliance Analyst ensures that a company adheres to legal standards, regulations, and internal policies. Their main duties include monitoring changes in laws and industry regulations, assessing how these impact company operations, and updating or creating compliance policies accordingly. They conduct regular internal audits to identify areas of non-compliance, resolve compliance problems by investigating and implementing corrective actions, and serve as a liaison with external regulatory bodies and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Cover training employees on compliance requirements, preparing detailed reports for senior management, advising executives on compliance matters, and maintaining a compliance record-keeping system.
• Compliance Analysts stay updated on regulatory developments and continuously improve compliance programs.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.
