Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Manage payroll processing and salary disbursement with accuracy and compliance. 2. Oversee compensation structure, including bonuses, overtime, allowances, and benefits. 3. Monitor attendance and working hours to ensure payroll alignment. 4. Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws (minimum wage, social security, provident fund, etc.). 5. Assist in developing compensation policies and conducting market salary benchmarking. 6. Support HR in resolving payroll issues and addressing employee queries. 7. Collaborate on internal and external audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance. Preferred candidate profile 1. 7+ years of payroll management experience; preference for candidates with factory or manufacturing payroll expertise. 2. Strong knowledge of Indian wage laws, labor regulations, and social security schemes (EPF, ESI). 3. Proficient in payroll processing, attendance systems (SAP, Workday, ADP), Excel, and report analysis. 4. Excellent data analysis and attention to detail. 5. Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams. 6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
