Job Description

In this key governance role, you will assist the Board of Directors in managing the company according to all applicable rules and regulations. Your responsibility will include ensuring the company complies with statutory obligations and keeping the Board informed of any changes in legislation or regulations that may impact the organization. You will manage essential company records, including the registers of members, directors, and secretaries, and organize board meetings, AGMs, and other key corporate events. Additionally, you will prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and ensure that proper documentation is maintained for statutory records. You have: Qualified Company Secretary and eligibility to become a full time Company Secretary in India. A degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in corporate governance, legal compliance, or company secretarial work. Familiarity with corporate governance principles, statutory regulations, and legal compliance requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing agendas, taking minutes, and communicating with the Board and other stakeholders. High attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations. It would be good if you had: Additional certifications in corporate governance or legal studies are a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and organize board meetings and AGMs. Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace), and familiarity with corporate governance and record-keeping tools or databases. Play a key role in ensuring the company meets all legal and regulatory requirements, safeguarding the company s reputation and operational integrity. Assist the Board in making informed decisions by organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes, while ensuring effective governance practices are followed. Manage all statutory documentation and records, ensuring that they are accurately maintained and readily available for legal and regulatory purposes. Gain deep insight into the legislative landscape and its impact on corporate governance, staying updated on any relevant legal changes. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure company compliance and effective communication on governance matters. This role offers exposure to high-level corporate governance processes and the opportunity to develop expertise in statutory compliance, legal documentation, and corporate decision-making.
