Engineering Manager

Job Description

You will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to engineering teams. Oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development. Plan, prioritize, and manage engineering projects to meet deadlines and quality standards. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables. Establish and enhance development processes, best practices, and coding standards. You have: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 15 years of experience in Telecommunications Networks domain 9 years of experience with Agile frameworks and techniques such as Scrum, Kanban and Continuous Delivery 5 years of experience in directly leading teams building Telecommunication Software products Experience in cloud-based development, microservices architecture, or DevOps practices. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. It would be nice if you also had: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks. Leadership skills and proven mentorship experience Ability to provide a big picture vision to engineer and inspire them to achieve challenging targets Manage a team of highly capable developers and testers Establishing goals objectives for team and manages the team to ensure that goals are met Lead motivate technical teams, mentor, grow and enable each member to reach their full potential. Working in a fast-paced environment where you need to discover as you move forward and still maintain control and manage the committed goals Identify areas of risk and proactively address before such becomes unmanageable Hands-on knowledge on a broad array of cloud native technologies and operability concepts. Ability to comprehend complex technical problems and create pragmatic solutions. High proficiency in Coding languages and development practices. Work on cloud native technologies.
