Community Management

You will be responsible for managing spaces on The Under 25 App by overseeing and growing topic-based communities to ensure they remain active, vibrant, and engaging. Your primary tasks will include curating and publishing compelling content to initiate discussions and excitement within the spaces. You will need to identify cohorts of users based on interests and create tailored topic-based spaces for them. Utilizing basic design tools, you will create engaging content using card templates for posts on spaces. Additionally, crafting engaging push notifications to drive user interaction and increase app usage will be a crucial part of your role. Actively engaging with users, recognizing community champions, and appreciating their contributions to maintain motivation within the community will also be essential. Monitoring activity and engagement within spaces to enhance content strategy and community experience will round up your responsibilities. Requirements for this position include a minimum of 2 years of experience in community management, content creation, or social media. You should possess strong communication and content curation skills. Basic design skills using tools like Canva or Figma to work on templates are necessary. Analyzing user interests to tailor content, being creative to make spaces interactive, engaging, and relevant, and demonstrating enthusiasm for building communities are key attributes required. A passion for connecting with students and fostering meaningful engagement is highly valued.
