All the responsibilities we'll trust you with: ESTABLISH: They establish a media network (personal relationships) in all relevant fields – specifically sports and culture media to support the national communication targets and business plan goals. This also involves identifying developing and working with a network of external communication consultants/specialists/PR Stringers relevant to big projects/activations across priority playgrounds in sports and culture – Motorsports, Cricket, Core Sports, Gaming, Music and Dance PLAN: Supporting the Communications Manager/Head of Communications in the development of a target-oriented, well-balanced communication plan that serves the local business needs best. They help plan end-to-end communication activations for sports/culture events, athlete/sports content projects and more. They help develop customized communications plans in alignment with various marketing departments. The role also involves help in planning the appropriate media budgets and ensuring minimal deviations for the same. PRODUCE: Following the plans they closely work with the RBMN team to produce locally and also internationally relevant top-quality sports still images and media products as per outlet requirements. EXPAND: Help develop and enable a network of area/playground specialists who work with core and mainstream outlets to create qualitative comms outputs with focus on earned social and engaging AB1 audience Focus on in-depth feature/trend stories and quality content that highlight Red Bull’s involvement in various sports and culture scenes where the brand message is articulated clearly. PLAYGROUNDS: Help develop playground-specific communications plans that address Cricket, Motorsports, Gaming, Music and Dance specifically at an overall high-priority level, and other playgrounds like Core Sports, Football, Mot and Badminton at an always-on level. Playground plans will involve working cross-functionally across internal departments and with external area specialists to activate. Plans will include the depth of the Red Bull marketing calendar including owned events, athletes, content and third-party activations DISTRIBUTE: They distribute customized local content nationally to the appropriate and relevant media outlets in print, web, TV and their respective social media channels. They drive the usage of the Red Bull Content Pool as a source for high quality media productions. CONTRIBUTE: They act as a content developer and collector for the Red Bull Media House, feeding requested information plus finalized editorially valuable productions (moving images, audio, stills) into the global Red Bull Content Pool in time, according to its technical specifications and keeps all relevant materials updated (Red Bull Content Pool and MediaNet) also delivering the requested documentation. MONITOR: They monitor the quality and quantity of the generated results to fine-tune future approaches. Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Studies in journalism, marketing and/or media. EXPERIENCE: Relevant experience in editorial communication/PR, with a specific focus on sports. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Strong PR skills including strong writing / story telling skills and editorial insights Passion, Knowledge and Experience in Priority Playgrounds of Motorsports, Cricket, Gaming, Music and Dance Strong media insights, understanding evolving media trends and identifying relevant story angles and content hooks. Strong relations with Media That Matter (traditional, new media and earned social platforms) across priority playgrounds End to end project management for all projects along with coordinating with team members and third parties for end-to-end execution. Understanding of distribution (earned social, print, broadcast, web, new media).
