Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Commis Chef with expertise in South Indian Cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar role.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other chefs to develop menus and implement new culinary techniques.
Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
Ensure timely delivery of orders, meeting customer expectations.
Develop and maintain knowledge of local ingredients, spices, and cooking methods.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of South Indian cuisine, including its flavors, textures, and presentation styles.
Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, including ovens, stoves, and refrigerators.
Attention to detail, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
