Role Description

Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambar, rasam, and regional specialtiesEnsure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioningMaintain hygiene and food safety standards as per IHCL protocolsAssist senior chefs in mise en place and daily kitchen operationsMonitor inventory of South Indian ingredients and report shortagesCollaborate with the culinary team for menu planning and innovation

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or certification in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts (preferred)Hands-on experience in South Indian cooking techniques and ingredientsFamiliarity with kitchen equipment like dosa tawa, steamers, and grindersGood communication and teamwork skillsBasic knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines
