Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Commis 1 – Indian Cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen brigade led by a renowned celebrity chef. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all Indian dishes under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and Head Chef.
• Ensure consistent and high-quality food output as per the restaurant’s standards.
• Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety protocols in the kitchen at all times.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist in inventory management.
• Support in mise en place preparation before each service.
• Handle equipment, tools, and kitchen appliances responsibly.
• Take feedback positively and actively contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth operation and timely service.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Indian cuisine in a high-volume or fine-dining kitchen.
• Strong understanding of regional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and presentation.
• Formal culinary education preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per business needs.
