Role Summary:

The Commercial Manager will have full P&L ownership and lead all commercial, sales, revenue, accounting, and contract management activities for the mining project. The role ensures operational efficiency, financial control, and effective contract negotiation and administration to support business growth and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take complete ownership of the project’s P&L, managing sales revenue, costs, and overall profitability.

• Develop and implement sales and revenue management strategies, including client contract negotiation and management.

• Lead contract negotiation, drafting, review, execution, and compliance monitoring to protect company interests and ensure mutual obligations are met.

• Oversee accounting functions ensuring accurate financial recording, reporting, billing, invoicing, and collections.

• Manage procurement and supplier/vendor relationships with effective negotiation and contract administration.

• Monitor commercial risks, resolve contract disputes or claims, and ensure regulatory and company policy compliance.

• Collaborate with operational teams to control costs and optimize project resource utilization.

• Prepare regular management reports on financial performance, sales status, contract compliance, and risk.

• Support audits, financial reviews, and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.

Qualifications and Skills:


• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline. MBA preferable.

• Proven experience in commercial management with P&L responsibility in mining or heavy industry projects.

• Strong skills in sales management, contract negotiation, and revenue optimization.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and controls.

• Experience in contract lifecycle management including negotiation, administration, and compliance.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multi-stakeholder relationships.

• Knowledge of mining operations and project environments is preferred.
