Job Description

Job title: Commercial Manager (MEP) - JNPA

Work Location: JNPA, Navi Mumbai

Division / Department: Projects Pre-construction

Role Description

The Commercial Manager MEP will be responsible for managing the procurement, contracts, and commercial

operations for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, and ICT works across mixed-use and industrial projects.

The role ensures efficient cost control, vendor management, and timely procurement aligned with project

schedules and quality standards.

Essential Accountabilities

Procurement & Contract

Management

- Manage supplier selection, tendering, and contract negotiations for

MEP packages.

- Evaluate vendors and ensure cost-effective, quality procurement.

Commercial Oversight & Cost

Control

- Monitor project budgets and expenditure related to MEP works.

- Validate contractor bills and manage claims efficiently.

Supply Chain & Logistics - Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

- Implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels.

Vendor Relationship

Management

- Build strategic partnerships with vendors and suppliers.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure quality service.

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and quality standards.

- Collaborate with finance and audit teams for budget alignment.

Educational Requirement and Work Experience

• Education Requirements: Bachelors/Masters in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business

Administration.

• Years of experience: 1012 years in commercial, contracts, or supply chain management roles in mixed-

use development projects.

• Work Experience Requirements: Knowledge of FIDIC, EPC models, and ERP systems.
