Foaps is a B2B technology startup transforming how small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) operate and grow across India.


We specialise in building direct ordering platforms—starting with the restaurant industry—and are expanding into verticals like retail, pharma, and grocery. Our tools empower businesses to eliminate middlemen, reduce costs, and gain control over their operations through WhatsApp ordering, POS integrations, and smart automation.

The Opportunity:

Co-Founder


You will own the entire go-to-market strategy, drive demand, onboard merchant partners (starting with restaurants), and lead revenue growth initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with the product and tech teams to shape what we build and how we sell it.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Sales Strategy & Execution

    : Define and implement our GTM and sales roadmap across sectors, starting with food & beverage.
  • Drive Revenue Growth

    : Own top-line performance by increasing order volumes and merchant acquisition consistently.
  • Build & Scale Sales Team

    : Hire, train, and lead a high-performance sales team capable of achieving week-on-week growth.
  • Develop Strategic Partnerships

    : Establish alliances with POS providers, billing platforms, last-mile delivery services, and other ecosystem players.
  • Generate and Manage Leads

    : Build strong lead pipelines through inbound and outbound strategies, and own the full sales funnel from lead to close.
  • Customer Success & Retention

    : Understand merchant pain points, deliver compelling demos, and ensure successful onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate on Pricing & Positioning

    : Work with leadership to evolve pricing models, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement tools.
  • Influence Product Direction

    : Represent the customer voice in shaping our product roadmap and feature set.
  • Market & Competitor Intelligence

    : Stay ahead of market trends and competitors to refine strategy and messaging.
  • Be the Face of Foaps

    : Represent the company to clients, partners, and at key events.

Qualifications:

  • 6–10 years of experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development—ideally in SaaS, retail-tech, or food-tech
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and managing end-to-end sales cycles
  • Experience building and leading sales teams in fast-paced, early-stage environments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • High ownership mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and modern GTM frameworks
  • Bonus: Experience in the restaurant, POS, or online ordering ecosystem
