Job Description

  • A cluster coordinator job involves overseeing and coordinating activities within a specific geographic or programmatic area, which can include managing staff, liaising with stakeholders, monitoring and reporting on project progress, and ensuring program goals are met. Key duties often include ensuring compliance with project plans, collecting and disseminating data, providing training and support, and building partnerships with community leaders and government officials. The specific responsibilities vary widely depending on the organization, ranging from managing community health programs to overseeing educational initiatives or providing technical support for a software cluster.
  • Key responsibilities
  • Program implementation: Implement and monitor program activities in the assigned cluster, which may involve managing a team of facilitators, educators, or other field staff.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Act as a liaison between the project and community members, local government officials, and other relevant stakeholders, building strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Monitoring and reporting: Track progress, collect data (often through mobile applications), and prepare reports, including monthly and annual reports, success stories, and MIS analytics.
  • Capacity building: Support the capacity building of stakeholders, which can include conducting training sessions or providing mentorship.
  • Logistics and administration: Oversee administrative tasks such as securing permissions, managing a budget, and ensuring the repair or maintenance of assets.
