About the Role

Principal Software Architect

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—engineering, product, operations, and security—to shape the future of cloud-native services, AI-driven data pipelines, and next-gen application platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect unified data strategies to eliminate silos and integrate structured/unstructured data.
  • Define data product standards with robust governance and service contracts.
  • Design AI-native pipelines and knowledge graphs using OpenText’s Aviator AI platform.
  • Build frameworks to enhance AI accuracy and reduce hallucinations.
  • Lead strategic pilots in content-heavy industries (legal, healthcare, finance) with measurable ROI.
  • Provide architectural governance across product portfolios aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Present technical vision and business value to C-level stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years in enterprise data architecture for Fortune 500-scale platforms.
  • Expertise in modern data patterns (data fabric, pipeline, mart) and tools (Spark, Kafka).
  • Deep knowledge of semantic technologies (RDF, SPARQL, Neo4j).
  • Strong AI/ML experience, especially with LLMs and unstructured data extraction.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and enterprise security.
  • Multi-cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid strategies.
  • SaaS platform deployment and scaling experience.

Leadership & Communication

  • Proven success in leading architectural transformation initiatives.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership in complex B2B environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
  • Skilled in creating architecture blueprints and reusable patterns.
  • Experience in customer-facing technical engagements.
