What We Need
Corpay is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Computing team. In this role, you will work on real-world business projects involving cloud infrastructure, services, and tools—primarily within the Azure ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions that support scalable and secure operations.

What You'll Be Doing
Role Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment

Assist in designing and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions

Support migration of on-premises workloads to cloud infrastructure

Monitor and maintain cloud services including VMs, storage, networking, databases, and security
Automation & DevOps Collaboration

Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams on automation using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, PowerShell, or Terraform
-
Implement best practices for cost optimization, performance tuning, and security compliance
Operations & Support

Troubleshoot technical issues and support cloud operations through proactive monitoring and incident resolution

Document processes, configurations, and create knowledge base articles
Learning & Contribution

Participate in team meetings and training sessions

Present findings or project outcomes to internal stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills
Required
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
-
Basic understanding of cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
-
Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
-
Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and system administration
-
Exposure to scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
-
Experience with Git, GitLab, or CI/CD pipelines

Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM templates)

Interest in cloud security, IAM, and compliance

Basic understanding of containers and Kubernetes
