Location: Pan India

Job Summary:

Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Networking:

• Configure and manage VPNs (IPsec-based).
• Expert-level understanding of DNS – Delegation, NS, SOA, and handling private/public zones.
• Design and manage ExpressRoute connectivity with BGP and route propagation.
• Implement inter-VNET routing and peering architectures.

2. Storage:

• Deploy and manage Azure Files, Blob Storage, and Block Storage.
• Optimize data access and redundancy solutions.

3. Azure Services:

• Work extensively with PaaS and SaaS models in Azure.
• Integrate services (e.g., databases with AKS or VMs).
• Configure Azure Load Balancers, API Gateway, Azure Front Door.
• Manage secrets and certificates using Azure Key Vault.

4. Landing Zone & Governance:

• Implement and manage Azure Landing Zones aligned with Microsoft best practices.
• Manage Azure subscriptions, role-based access control (IAM), and resource governance.
• Integrate Azure AD (Entra ID, B2C) with on-prem Active Directory.
• Work with third-party tools and align with Azure Well-Architected Framework.

5. Security:

• Deploy Azure Firewall and integrate third-party firewalls.
• Implement Web Application Firewalls (WAF) at the management subscription level.
• Apply SSL encryption/decryption strategies across services.

6. Monitoring & Analytics:

• Set up log analytics and monitoring integrations with Azure Sentinel.
• Monitor AKS workloads using built-in and third-party tools.
• Integrate with third-party SIEM/logging tools for enhanced observability.

7. General & Operational Skills:

• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps pipelines.
• Ensure FinOps best practices for cloud cost control and operational efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure across infrastructure, networking, and security.
• Hands-on with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar.
• Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
• Experience with containerization (AKS, Docker) and Kubernetes operations.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust security principles and compliance frameworks.
