Assessment & DiagnosisConduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children (0–6 years) with developmental delays, neurodevelopmental disorders, and behavioral/emotional concerns.Use standardized assessment tools for cognitive, adaptive, behavioral, and socio-emotional functioning.Prepare detailed psychological evaluation reports and share findings with the multidisciplinary team.Intervention & TherapyPlan and implement individualized intervention programs based on assessment outcomes.Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as behavioral therapy, play therapy, and parent-mediated interventions.Monitor progress and modify intervention plans as required.Early Identification & ScreeningSupport early screening and identification of developmental, learning, and behavioral concerns.Participate in community or referral-based screening programs when required.Parent & Caregiver SupportConduct parent counseling and psychoeducation sessions.Train parents in home-based intervention strategies and behavior management techniques.Address parental stress and promote positive parenting practices.Multidisciplinary Team CoordinationWork collaboratively with occupational therapists, speech therapists, special educators, social workers, and pediatricians.Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and integrated goal setting.Program Planning & DocumentationMaintain accurate clinical records, case notes, and progress reports.Assist in developing early intervention protocols and therapy plans.Ensure documentation complies with institutional and regulatory standards.Training & Capacity BuildingProvide guidance and support to therapists, educators, and interns.Participate in internal trainings, case presentations, and professional development activities.Research & Quality ImprovementContribute to data collection, outcome monitoring, and service evaluation.Stay updated with current research and best practices in early childhood mental health and intervention.Ethical & Professional PracticeAdhere to ethical guidelines of the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.Requirements
