Social Worker

Job Responsibilities: Assess the social, emotional, and psychological needs of residents and develop individualized support plans. Provide counseling and emotional support to residents facing trauma, neglect, or abandonment. Coordinate with government agencies, NGOs, and hospitals for resident welfare, rehabilitation, and legal aid. Facilitate admissions, case documentation, background verification, and social reintegration processes. Conduct regular group activities and life skills sessions to build confidence and independence among residents. Act as a liaison between residents, their families (if any), and external stakeholders. Maintain case records, progress reports, and ensure compliance with documentation standards. Advocate for residents’ rights, protection, and access to government schemes or entitlements. Participate in outreach programs, awareness campaigns, and donor/sponsor engagement as required
