Job Description

Job Summary: As an Operations Executive, you will play a key role in overseeing the entire logistics process, managing shipments, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to optimize processes and enhance service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Shipment Coordination: > Oversee the entire shipment process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. > Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors to arrange shipments, manage schedules, and ensure on-time deliveries. > Track and monitor shipments in real-time, resolving any delays or issues promptly. Documentation and Compliance: >Ensure all necessary documentation, customs forms, and invoices, are completed accurately and promptly. > Stay up-to-date with relevant local regulations and compliance standards related to logistics and cargo. > Customer Service & Relationship Management: > Communicate directly with clients to update them on the status of shipments and address any concerns or special requirements. > Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction. Process Optimization: > Continuously review and evaluate operational processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. > Proactively identify and resolve potential operational bottlenecks to ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods. INDIA LOGISTICS LLP Problem Resolution: > Address operational challenges, including delays, cargo damages, and shipping errors, ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely and customer-friendly manner. > Liaise with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of issues. > Reporting and Analysis: > Prepare regular reports on operational performance, shipment status, and inventory levels for management review. > Analyze operational data and provide insights for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives. Vendor and Supplier Management: > Manage relationships with transporters, carriers, and other service providers, negotiating rates and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met. > Monitor the performance of vendors and suppliers, ensuring that they adhere to agreed-upon standards and timelines. Team Collaboration: > Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and warehouse staff, to ensure alignment and support in achieving operational goals. > Participate in team meetings, offering suggestions for improvement and sharing feedback from customers and vendors.
