Job Description

Amazon Claims Manager


Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily reports and reconcile shipments, returns, and inventory discrepancies.
  • File and follow up on FBA reimbursements for: Lost or damaged inventory, Shipment shortages or overages, Overcharged fees, Customer returns not received or refunded incorrectly
  • Maintain claim tracker with current statuses and timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal warehouse or prep teams to provide supporting documents.
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon policies and avoid claim denials or account health issues.
  • Audit historical data for missed reimbursements or unresolved claims.
  • Liaise with Amazon support through Seller Central and create compelling case narratives.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience (2–3 years minimum) managing Amazon FBA claims and reimbursements
  • Strong understanding of Amazon's policies and reimbursement workflows
  • Proficiency in Amazon Seller Central and Excel / Google Sheets
  • Excellent written communication skills to craft persuasive claims and follow-ups
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet deadlines
  • Experience with flat files or inventory reconciliation tools is a plus
