Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) is a National Centre of the Government of India under the Department of Atomic Energy and is a deemed University awarding degrees for master's and doctoral programs. The main campus is located in Mumbai, with additional centres in Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

Role Description

This is a on-site role for a Civil Engineer based in Hyderabad. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include site inspection, project management, preparing specifications and documentation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in civil engineering design, structural analysis, and building construction
• Experience with project management and site inspection
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with team members and contractors
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Relevant certifications and professional licenses are a plus
• Experience working in research institutions or in the education sector is advantageous
