Company Description Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) is a National Centre of the Government of India under the Department of Atomic Energy and is a deemed University awarding degrees for master's and doctoral programs. Founded in 1945 with support from the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust under the vision of Dr. Homi Bhabha, TIFR conducts basic research in fields such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, computer science, and science education. The main campus is located in Mumbai, with additional centres in Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. Role Description This is a on-site role for a Civil Engineer based in Hyderabad. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include site inspection, project management, preparing specifications and documentation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders. Qualifications Strong knowledge in civil engineering design, structural analysis, and building construction Experience with project management and site inspection Proficiency in using engineering software and tools Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with team members and contractors Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Relevant certifications and professional licenses are a plus Experience working in research institutions or in the education sector is advantageous
