Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, executing, and supervising civil construction projects, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to timelines. The role also involves contributing to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) infrastructure and community development projects.

1) Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

I. Oversee and manage on-site civil construction activities as per design and specifications.

II. Supervise contractors, vendors, and labor to ensure work quality and safety compliance.

III. Prepare daily progress reports, material consumption logs, and quality checklists.

IV. Assist in project planning, estimation, budgeting, and scheduling.

V. Conduct site surveys, leveling, and layout work as required.

VI. Ensure timely procurement and usage of construction materials.

VII. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and internal departments for smooth execution.

VIII. Monitor CSR-related infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

IX. Support environmental and safety compliance standards across project sites.

2) Key Result Areas (KRA) / Key Performance Indicators (KPI):

The core accountabilities of this role focus heavily on Project Execution, ensuring timely completion within budget and specifications. Success is measured by strict Quality Control, minimizing rework and construction defects, and high Safety Compliance, maintaining zero site accidents and strict adherence to safety standards. The role also requires robust Resource Management to achieve optimal utilization of manpower and materials, and continuous attention to Cost Efficiency, keeping budget variances within acceptable project cost limits. Finally, comprehensive Documentation is mandatory, covering accurate reporting, drawings, and records, along with successful CSR Project Delivery according to the approved plan and stated impact goals.

3) Skills and Knowledge:

I. Sound understanding of civil engineering concepts, building construction, and materials.

II. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

III. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools.

IV. Knowledge of estimation, BOQ preparation, and billing.

V. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and site management skills.

VI. Awareness of CSR-related construction norms and sustainable practices.

VIII. Excellent communication and coordination skills.

4) Educational Qualifications:

· Diploma (Polytechnic) in Civil Engineering or

· B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering

5) Experience:

· Total Experience: 1–3 Years

Relevant Experience: Building Construction, Site Execution, and CSR Project Work
