Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead and coordinate the execution of a Pharmaceutical Infrastructure Project, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost control. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end civil works and will oversee multidisciplinary teams including HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, and Utility Services, driving seamless integration across all disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
🏗️ Civil Works Execution & Oversight
Ø Plan, supervise, and execute all civil engineering activities including structural, architectural, and finishing works.
Ø Review and interpret BOQs, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.
Ø Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
Multidisciplinary Coordination
Ø Lead coordination between civil, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing teams.
Ø Ensure timely sequencing and integration of services to avoid clashes and delays.
Ø Resolve inter-disciplinary conflicts and facilitate smooth execution.
📋 Project Planning & Monitoring
Ø Prepare detailed execution schedules, resource plans, and progress trackers.
Ø Monitor project milestones and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
Ø Report progress to senior management and flag critical issues proactively.
📐 Technical Review & Value Engineering
Ø Analyze design and specifications for constructability and cost-effectiveness.
Ø Recommend alternative materials or methods to optimize performance and cost.
Ø Review vendor submissions and ensure technical compliance.
👥 Team Leadership & Vendor Management
Ø Supervise site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors across disciplines.
Ø Conduct regular coordination meetings and ensure accountability.
Ø Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
📑 Documentation & Compliance
Ø Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and approvals.
Ø Ensure compliance with pharma industry standards, GMP norms, and statutory regulations.
Ø Liaise with consultants, clients, and regulatory bodies as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Ø Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BE/BTech); Master’s preferred.
Ø Minimum 10–15 years of experience in industrial or pharma infrastructure projects.
Ø Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems, and cleanroom requirements.
Ø Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
Ø Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Attributes:
