IBR Boiler Operator (Certified)Job Description Operate, monitor, and maintain IBR-certified steam boilers as per statutory and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements. Ensure safe and efficient generation of steam for manufacturing, utilities, and HVAC systems. Conduct routine checks for pressure, temperature, fuel consumption, and water levels. Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and blow-down operations. Maintain records/logbooks for boiler performance, fuel usage, and safety inspections. Coordinate with maintenance and safety teams to handle breakdowns or emergencies. Comply with Factory Act, Boiler Act, and IBR regulations applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing. Required Skills Must hold a valid IBR Boiler Operator Certificate (1st Class or 2nd Class as per local law). Strong knowledge of boiler operations, combustion systems, and water treatment. Understanding of safety norms, statutory compliance, and GMP guidelines. Ability to troubleshoot boiler-related issues. Basic knowledge of steam distribution systems, valves, and pressure controls. Record-keeping and reporting skills. Good teamwork and communication skills.
