Civil Engineer (Estimation & Costing) – 2-3 Years Experience

Position Details: Position title: Civil Engineer- Estimation & Costing Location: Head Office- Nigdi, Pune Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 2-3Years Reporting to: Project Manager / Senior Manager-Projects Job Objective To prepare accurate project estimations, costing, and quantity take-offs for plotting and mix-use development projects. Support the head office team with technical documentation, cost control, BOQ preparation, and vendor evaluation. Key Responsibilities Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings. Develop and maintain project cost estimates and BOQs. Assist in vendor rate analysis and quotation comparison for civil items. Work closely with project and procurement teams for budgeting and cost planning. Update project cost tracking sheets and flag deviations from approved budgets. Prepare MIS reports related to costing, procurement, and estimation. Coordinate with site engineers for reconciliation of quantities and material consumption. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering. 2-3 years of relevant experience in estimation, costing, and quantity surveying. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar). Understanding of rate analysis and construction techniques. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication and coordination skills. Preferred Attributes Experience in SME construction firms is a plus.
