Cisco Voice Engineer

As a Cisco Voice Engineer based in Gurugram, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the hosted network and UC environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Handling MACD (Moves, Adds, Changes, Deletions) requests. - Managing and resolving support tickets within SLAs. - Performing basic troubleshooting for voice, data, and UC systems. - Escalating complex issues to senior engineers when required. - Applying firmware updates and assisting with scheduled network upgrades. - Investigating and resolving network and UC-related faults. - Providing reports on network performance and status. - Assisting in setting up and maintaining network and UC infrastructure. - Working on basic configurations and troubleshooting of Voice Gateways, Cisco Call Manager, and Cisco Unity. - Monitoring network activity and ensuring smooth performance. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Basic understanding of network systems, routing, and switching. - Knowledge of VoIP, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and other communication protocols. - Basic understanding of Unified Communication tools (Call Manager, Unity, Voice Gateways). - Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team. - Willingness to work in 24x7 rotational shifts.
