Job Role- Cisco Network Senior Specialist

Location-Pune/Hyderabad/Bangalore

Notice Period-Immediate to 15 days

Experience Range- 8 To 14 yrs

Primary Skill – L3 experience only, (Routing Switching) along with Riverbed or Infoblox, WAN Optimizer

Generic JD as per the System-

• Network architecture and design
• Network device Configuration Routing Switching updates to support device commissioning and decommissioning
• Monitor and manage Nektar Network Support for Network LAN infrastructure DHCP DNS WINS VLANs QOS Network Access Control NAC and Wireless LANs load balancers IP address management network segmentation
• Provide help with capacity planning for DC LAN Network
• Perform troubleshooting activities to maintain the LAN availability
• Support for IP address management and DNS services
• Capacity planning forecasting system optimization
• Configuration implementation and testing of new network Switches
• Annual Failover testing
• Deployment and Operations of the network hardware in the IT infrastructure It includes new implementations expansion and support of NXOS N2K N3K N5K N7K and N9K IOS Catalyst 3850 9500 and 9300 switches routers Load Balancers and Firewalls in Data Centers
• Working on Routing Protocols EIGRP BGP ISIS and Switching Protocols STP RSTP as part of implementations and operations
• Engage in ONCALL rotation which needs working on priority1 and priority2 cases in realtime providing immediate solutions to the issues impacting the live production
• Must have experience F5 load balancing strategiestechniques expertise in application switchingtraffic management knowledge of persistence and SSL certificates
• Providing the Root Cause Analysis RCA and implementing Long term fix for the problems and discussing the solutions to the team
• Perform code upgrades to the network switches and routers in the cisco infrastructure to overcome vulnerabilitiesbugs and maintain the standards
• Strong experience in a mediumlarge scale enterprise networks 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Network and security knowledge on Cisco products routing switching and firewalls
• Strong network troubleshooting skills from layer 1 to 7
• Experience with enterprise grade load balancers eg F5 and Cisco Access Points
• Experience working on monitoring tools SolarWinds Orion NCM and NPM Aruba
• Should have worked on DC network documentation and related processes
• Should have experience in handling data center network related incidents within defined SLAs
• Installation configuration and strong troubleshooting experience in Cisco devices Experience in Voice WAN Wireless Site Networks maintenance Datacenter support
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs patches hot fixes and security configurations
• Provide Level 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues within SLA
