ROLE DEFINITION AND PURPOSE

The CHRO Indian Sub-continent, as a partner to the General Management of the various subsidiaries within the scope, contributes to the reliability and quality of consolidated HR information. He/she participates in managing performance and HR objectives within his/her perimeter.

HIERARCHICAL AND/OR FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

The CHRO Indian Sub-continent reports to the ASPAC HR Director.

Missions, Activities & Responsibilities

  • Acts as a proactive partner and as a Business Partner with managers within his/her scope.
  • Supports managers in responding to employees questions regarding policies, regulations, processes, and HR procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with labour law and disciplinary rules within the scope; participates in HR audits.
  • Contributes to implementing ASPAC HR policy, manages local specificities while harmonizing practices at perimeter and/or Group level.
  • Proposes an effective onboarding process for employees and managers.
  • Contributes to external growth operations (integration) and the creation of new offices/regions.
  • Makes recommendations on performance evaluation processes, career management, and performance-related remuneration policies (individual and collective).
  • Helps identify high potentials and participates in implementing succession plans.
  • Coaches/supports managers on performance management and individual management procedures; contributes to deploying internal mobility and development programs.
  • Assists in defining key skills development needs in collaboration with operational managers.
  • Participates in or manages career reorientation and departures.
  • Supports change management, particularly in Group transformation projects.
  • Leads and/or contributes to structuring cross-functional HR projects in collaboration with the ASPAC HR Director
