Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

🔬 Essential Qualifications:

• PhD

  in Atomic & Molecular Physics, Quantum Optics, Laser Physics, Photonics, or related fields
• (Bonus: 1+ year of Postdoctoral experience)
• OR

• Master’s degree

  in the above areas

  and 3+ years hands-on laboratory experience.

• Strong

  hands-on expertise

  in designing, building, and optimizing experimental optical setups (laser spectroscopy, beam shaping, ultrafast optics).
• Proven ability to take

  ownership of projects

  , show

  leadership

  , and commit long-term to building a deep-tech startup.
• A true

  startup mindset

  — Takes initiative, is resourceful, resilient, and optimistic, and is excited to build cutting-edge technology in a high-risk, high-reward environment.

🌟 Desirable Skills:

• Experience in

  building or repairing lasers

  (DPSS, Ti:Sapphire, fiber lasers). Background in ultrafast (fs) lasers is a plus.
• Knowledge of

  laser stabilization

  (analog electronics / FPGA-based digital control).
• Familiarity with

  optical design software

  (Zemax, LASCAD, etc.) and CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Experience with

  Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV)

  systems.
• Prior experience

  leading a team

  of scientists, engineers, or graduate students.

📍 Location & Mode of Work

• On-site in Pune, India

  lab-intensive leadership role

  requiring full-time, hands-on involvement.
