Chief Technology Officer

As a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at our growing FinTech venture based in Ahmedabad, India, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's technology direction and long-term roadmap. With over 15 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 5 years in a strategic technology leadership position, you will lead a cross-functional engineering team and drive the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems. Your key responsibilities will include defining and executing the company's technology strategy, overseeing development cycles, and evaluating new technologies to ensure the adoption of agile methodologies and best practices. You will also manage and mentor a team of approximately 15 members, spanning frontend, backend, DevOps, QA, and mobile, while guiding resource planning and performance management. Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as you will partner with the CEO, product, design, and business teams to align tech initiatives with strategic objectives. Your ability to represent the company's technology vision to stakeholders, investors, and partners will be crucial, along with coordinating the implementation of enterprise systems and ensuring compliance and cybersecurity standards are met. To excel in this position, you must have deep expertise in cloud platforms, modern tech stacks, and microservices architecture, with a strong background in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and system security. Hands-on knowledge of frontend/backend technologies, experience in leading and growing engineering teams, and exposure to FinTech or secure financial platforms will be highly beneficial. Prior AI/ML implementation experience and excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills are essential.
