Job Summary:

 As a chief security officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our properties and employees. Your military training and experience in security operations will be essential in effectively managing security protocols responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.  

Key Responsibilities-

1.      Monitor and patrol assigned properties to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and assets.

2.      Conduct regular inspections of building, grounds and access points to identify potential security risks.

3.       Maintain daily records of daily activities, incidents and security breaches.

4.       Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees.

5.      Prevent unauthorized access. theft, vandalism and other illegal activities.

6.      Prepare and submit incident repots and daily activity logs.

7.      Assist visitors, verify identifications and maintain visitor logs.

8.      Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and Safety Protocols.

9.      Coordinate with police, fire department and emergency medical personal when required.

10.  Conduct on the job training, mock drill and refreshers for site guards.

11.  File detailed incident and investigations reports with photographic /logs supports.

12.  Supervise material movements, vehicle access and staff entry protocols.

13.  Address absenteeism disciplinary issue and performance shortfalls.

14.  Maintain accurate and up- to- date register /logs -visitors, Employee gate passes, incidents, night rounds.

15.  Zero tolerance approach towards indiscipline or negligence.  

16.  Monitoring the movement of employees at the main gate and checking gate pass documents properly.

17.  manage a facility's housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organization

18.  Controls employees who are unnecessarily out of the work area during patrolling and sends them back to their work place.

19. Promote a proactive approach to safety and a culture of safety awareness through employee engagement and communication. 

20. Monitor safety equipment and ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is available, functional, and up to standard. 

21. Maintain accurate records and documentation for safety inspections, incidents and training.

22. Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Required Qualifications

Retired military personnel with experience in security operations.
