Chief Product Officer (CPO)

Role Overview: As the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Zato Origin India Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. You will lead the product management organization, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure exceptional value delivery to accounting firms globally. Your strategic leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of accounting compliance automation within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Define and communicate Zato's product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap in alignment with company mission and business objectives. - Establish product principles, priorities, and decision-making frameworks to guide the product organization effectively. - Identify market opportunities, competitive threats, and strategic initiatives to drive product differentiation and market leadership. - Lead market research, customer discovery, and strategic planning to inform product investments and go-to-market strategies. - Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, industry associations, and stakeholders in the accounting ecosystem. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree strongly preferred. - 3+ years experience in product leadership roles; 10+ years in product management with at least 5 years in senior product leadership roles (VP Product, CPO) preferred. - Proven track record of building and scaling successful B2B SaaS products from early stage to growth stage. - Deep expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, and go-to-market execution. - Strong understanding of accounting, finance, compliance, or professional services industries is highly desirable. - Experience with workflow automation, AI/ML products, or intelligent systems is a strong plus. - Exceptional leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing product teams. - Strategic thinker with the ability to balance vision with execution and long-term goals with short-term delivery. - Strong technical acumen to engage with engineering teams on architecture and technical decisions. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including board members. - Customer-centric mindset with a passion for solving real business problems and delivering measurable value. - Data-driven approach to decision-making with comfort analyzing metrics, trends, and business performance. - Experience with agile methodologies, lean product development, and continuous delivery practices. - Track record of successful product launches, market expansion, and revenue growth. - Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and fast-paced startup environments. - Experience in New Zealand, Australian, or international markets is a plus.,
