Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for establishing and institutionalizing robust Talent Management systems at Air India Express to build a future-ready leadership and capability pipeline in alignment with the company's aggressive growth plans. Your role will involve leading comprehensive capability diagnostics, designing and embedding talent review processes, succession planning frameworks, and career pathing structures. Additionally, you will drive a culture of continuous talent refresh across the organization with a special focus on addressing acute talent gaps in non-flying functions. By integrating talent processes into the HR operating rhythm, leveraging data-driven insights, and collaborating with business and HR COEs, you will ensure a steady inflow, upskilling, and retention of critical talent while enhancing leadership bench strength. Success in this role will require strong stakeholder management skills, resilience, and the ability to influence in a legacy-driven environment, positioning Talent Management as a strategic enabler of business transformation and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a top-down and bottom-up diagnostic of current capability and talent gaps, providing clear recommendations for action across flying and non-flying roles. - Develop and embed systems for talent review, internal mobility, succession planning, HiPo identification, and career pathing. - Establish succession frameworks for mission-critical roles with defined success profiles, development plans, and readiness assessments. - Design and implement mechanisms to ensure the organization remains agile with regular talent inflow, outflow, and upskilling. - Collaborate with Capability & Culture and Performance COEs to develop future leaders aligned to business strategy. - Embed Talent Management into the regular operating rhythm of HR and line reviews, such as quarterly talent reviews. - Build dashboards and insights that translate talent data into actionable intelligence for the business and CHRO. - Position Talent Management as a credible and value-adding function in a resistant and legacy-led environment. Qualification Required: - Minimum 8+ years of experience in a Talent Management role from a Tier 1 B-school background. - Proficiency in strategic alliance and partnering. - Industry experience will be preferred.,
