Job Description

To minimize the maintenance down time, improve the system Availability and Reliability(MTBF/MTTR & % B.D), Reduce Maintenance Cost (Spare/Service) and Improve overall Life of the System (productivity and Quality both) by identifying the Bottleneck/modification/energy saving projects etc.

Plant round/ Physical condition inspection of utility/ logbook review.
Breakdown Maintenance of Plant Machinery and utility.
Root Cause analysis of repetitive break down.
Assign job to peer member as per priority based on daily meeting and pending job
Preventive Maintenance of Plant Machinery and Utility.
Interdepartmental follow-up (ie Stores/Purchase/Excise etc)
Supervision of PM activity
Validate and ensure legal compliance of electrical Department.
Meeting with purchase for pending material
Review emails and reply accordingly
Explore and implement energy saving Projects.
Review of Job at end of day and planning of resources to carry out pending job.
Unscheduled meeting/discussion and break-down
Reduce the spare and repairing Cost
IR/PR for spares in ORACLE that are required for PM and Breakdown activity.
Preparation of MIS.

Technical Knowledge & proficiency of maintenance activity of heavy engineering industry.
Technical Knowledge of handling preventive and maintenance activity of utility viz RO/Softener/Compressor/DG set/UPS/Sub-station etc
Analysis of expenses and plan budgetary expenses.
Liaising with Utility (Electricity board).
