Position Overview: As Chief Manager/AGM – Digital Ad Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact advertising sales strategies, building strong relationships with media agencies and direct clients, and driving branded content partnerships across our digital platforms. This role requires deep knowledge of digital industry, a strong network within the media and advertising ecosystem, and exceptional communication skills. Key Requirements: 6+ years of experience in Digital Ad Sales and Branded Content Sales with a Digital News Publishing organization. Established network of contacts within media agencies, advertisers, and brand marketing teams. Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem — programmatic, native, social media, branded content, influencer marketing, and digital video. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English. MBA in Marketing, Media Management, or a related field. Strategic thinker with the ability to convert insights into business opportunities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Generate digital ad sales revenue, ensuring consistent revenue growth through digital advertising and branded content sales. Develop and maintain strong relationships with media agencies, brand managers, and digital marketing decision-makers. Identify new business opportunities and actively pitch integrated, high-value advertising and branded content solutions. Collaborate with internal teams including editorial, content, marketing, and product to develop customized advertising proposals. Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and digital innovation to shape proactive sales strategies. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to client objectives. Negotiate and close deals, ensuring profitability and long-term client relationships.
