Chef de Partie (CDP)

Experience Required: Minimum 10 Years
Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Location: The Hamlet Resort Hyderabad
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) to manage a specific kitchen section and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate should have strong culinary skills, excellent discipline, and the ability to independently handle their assigned section.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and operate an assigned section (e.g., Indian, Continental, Tandoor, Bakery, etc.).
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to standard recipes and quality expectations.
  • Ensure all mise-en-place is prepared and organized before service.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, portion, and presentation.
  • Supervise Commis chefs and assist in their training.
  • Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of food items.
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and follow food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Coordinate with the Sous Chef and Jr. Sous Chef for smooth kitchen operations.
  • Monitor stock levels and reduce wastage in the assigned section.
  • Assist in menu planning and creation of new dishes when required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a commercial kitchen.
  • Strong expertise in one or more cuisine sections.
  • Ability to independently handle kitchen operations in assigned section.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety protocols.

Preferred Background:

  • Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.
  • Previous experience in premium hospitality establishments.
